1.    PWSA Coach and Assistant Coach Workflow

1.1    Purpose of this document

The Purpose of this document is to record the expected workflow and business case rules around how to make the Coach NCCP Number a mandatory field for users who select the Coach or Assistant Coach roles

2.    End User Registration

Assumptions: User has already created an initial account in the PWSA MRS and has started to fill in their profile Information.

2.1    Coach NCCP Number Field.

When any user of the MRS registers, they are required to fill in all the mandatory data points in the user profile before submitting. Since not all members will become a coach or an assistant coach, the Coach NCCP Number is one of those fields in the profile that is not mandatory. There is nothing preventing coaches or assistant coaches from filling in this number during the initial data entry process.

2.2   Selecting a Role

Users who wish to become coaches or assistant coaches will have to select the appropriate role during the user registration process.

2.3    New Functionality / Workflow

When a Coach or Assistant Coach role is selected the MRS needs to see if the user has entered anything in the Coach NCCP Number field on their profile.

Does the user profile contain data in the Coach NCCP Number Field?

• Yes, the registration process can continue as per normal to checkout.
• No, the user will be required to enter in the Coach NCCP Number before they are allowed to continue to the checkout process (Mandatory)

Note: there is no validation of the data that is in the Coach NCCP Number field, the MRS is just making that that something is there. (Does not = null)
